At a little under 800 pages, the authors have intentionally included information that is not on the test, but that should be known by any competent SQL 2000 DBA/Programmer. For instance, the info on the undocumented DBCC PAGE and DBCC LOG is presented quite well, giving the readers helpful "under the hood" information that books concerning certification rarely offer. Although the book is fraught with errata, the Sybex website contains corrections to most of them. I have been a SQL Server DBA for 4 years now and am very impressed by the effort put forth by these authors. FYI - "The Guru's Guide to Transact-Sql" by Ken Henderson is an excellent book for the advanced MS SQL Server Administrator/Programmer.

 About the Center The purpose of the Center for the Study of Social and Political Change at Smith College is to study current issues of social change and public policy and to communicate the findings to policy makers, intellectuals and the general public.
